Some (not needed) evidence of self-interest in politics, the case of redoing primary votes

It looks as if the Dems are moving towards a do over in Michigan, but not Florida. Obama wanted a caucus in Florida, while Clinton wanted a primary. So why are they agreeing to a primary in Michigan? I think that the bottom line is pretty simple: Clinton leads the polls in Florida, but the polls are pretty close in Michigan.

First off I don't see how they can run a fair do-over.

I think there is a basis for suggesting one in MI but not FL. Obama was on the ballot in FL even though he did not campaign there, but was not on the ballot in MI.
